In the past few years, Tahoe has seen an explosion of microbreweries. An area that once housed one or two decent beer makers now has more than a half-dozen, high-quality craft alehouses.
It’s a good place for a booming beer scene. After you hike granite peaks with views of Lake Tahoe or paddleboard along stunning, desolate shoreline, a cold beer feels well earned.
