Get Schooled By the Pros

Ryan Williams was on a road trip through Santa Barbara in the spring of 2016 when he thought, “It’d be fun to go surfing right now.” The only problem? He’s not an experienced surfer and he only had a couple of hours to spare.

Williams didn’t want to deal with waiting in line at the local surf school or heading out solo without a clue. Wouldn’t it be rad, he thought, if there was a network of pro athletes and local rippers whom you could link up with and hire for a quick lesson when you were passing through their town?
