Oh, Canada

I made it to Whistler last weekend during the resort’s World Ski and Snowboard Festival. Due to the festival, the mountain was crowded (a first-time skier actually collided into me while I was standing still) and there was a rumor that the village was going to run out of beer, but the snow was soft and the backcountry was relatively empty. Whistler local Holly Walker and my friend from Fernie Martha Burley  showed me around the mountain.
